Following the success of our work on Carrie Underwood's "The Champion" music video, Universal Music approached Jimmy Lynch at Rascal3 to assemble the same team for the creation of promos for Elton John's collaborative album "Restoration." The task was to devise a treatment that would narrate the songwriting process behind each track. After much deliberation, we decided to create a notebook-style approach that showcased the songs being written as they played. As all the featured artists were Nashville country acts, it was essential to imbue each spot with a country feel. We also had the opportunity to incorporate interviews with Elton John and Bernie Taupin to support the stories behind each song. Working on a project of this magnitude was an absolute thrill!
